Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, Inc.
Ms. Biggers is responsible for procurement, facilities, accounting and cash management - including cash clearing of settlements, tax compliance, and FERC financial reporting - at the Midwest ISO. She joined the company on August 16, 2000, serving as manager of finance and accounting under contract with Arthur Andersen LLP. She has been instrumental in managing the successful implementation of the company’s financial processes and procedures, internal control mechanisms, hiring procedures for finance personnel, accounting systems and adherence to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Code of Federal Regulations.
A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Biggers has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, including three years in public accounting as an external auditor. She has dedicated her career to financial management of start-up companies, including organizing the financial departments of two successful General Motors Corporation spin-offs.
A native of Carmel, Indiana, Ms. Biggers holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University. | |
