The Transmission Service Planning group performs the analyses or coordinates/directs studies required to respond
to requests for firm transmission service of one year or longer. Its responsibilities include evaluating firm
transmission service requests by performing System Impact Studies, which are off-line network analysis studies,
and coordinating/directing studies performed by other entities in response to transmission service requests.
